No phone lines, cellular phones or satellite phones are needed. * 911 Emergency Services - Be aware that VoIP services most likely will not have 911 Emergency Service calling capability and it is important for the consumer to have on hand or in speed dial, the full number of their local Fire or Police departments. It is also advised that mobile users of VoIP services research these local emergency numbers before traveling.
TV over IP Ready!
The television broadcast market is moving rapidly toward TV broadcast services delivered via Internet and we are ready. This convergence of broadband with satellite TV, broadcast TV, Interactive gaming, telephone services, emergency roadside assistance and many other services will deliver an In-the-Home experience, remotely in the field. You will be able to watch your hometown evening news report on your computer while parked 1500 miles away in another state. Typical DVD level broadcasts will need to be viewed with a high end media player such as Apple Quicktime with the H.264 Codec.
